Jay Aronowitz is a Human Resource Executive with over 20 years experience as an executive leader, strategic policy advisor/decision maker, innovative problem solver and strategic analyst. He served as a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES) and has an extensive analytical background in strategic human capital planning, and organizational & financial analyses.
Mr. Aronowitz served as the Army's Chief Human Capital Officer, creating HR policies for approximately 300,000 employees. He developed the framework for the Army's Diversity Roadmap, and established the Army's initial HR Analytics Cell to support strategic level decision making. Mr. Aronowitz led the Army's premier workforce planning and analyses organization, and testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on the Army's Strategic Human Capital Plan (the size, cost, and capabilities of its military, civilian, and contractor workforce). Throughout his career, Mr. Aronowitz collaborated with industry leaders, congressional staffers, and leading academicians to create sustainable HR policies to increase employee engagement and operational effectiveness.
Mr. Aronowitz currently serves on the Board of Directors (Civilian Advisory Committee) for the Association of the US Army and the Board of Directors for the Recovery Programs Solutions of Virginia.
Jay Aronowitz is from New Orleans, Louisiana. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Xavier University of Louisiana, and a Master of Science in Public Administration from The Ohio State University. He currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.
